At Wheezies, we believe that, when possible, we should try to help each other. We have decided to pick a worthy cause and donate a portion of the price of each necklace sold and donate it to the chosen charity.
The first charity we selected was My Stuff Bags Foundation. Because of the generosity of our customers we were able to donate $75 to this very worthy organization that benefits the lives of children. www.mystuffbags.com
Our featured charity organization is Rally for Kids with Cancer.
Rally for Kids with Cancer is dedicated to improving the lives of children with cancer. Shannon Tweed, actress and star of A&E's Gene Simmon's Family Jewels is participating in the Rally for Kids with Cancer Scavenger Cup on October 23, 2010. The money donated today will support cancer research from diagnosis to treatment and will also assist in finding new therapies for these children.
Update! On October 22, 2010 Wheezies, with the help of our wonderful customers, donated $100 to Rally for Kids with Cancer. We are very happy to donate to such a worthy cause!
