Wheezies

There was something really appealing about being accepted by a friends much older sister, especially when she let you into her room.  There was a sense of being let into a forbidden area, that you were being given a pass into the cool kids space, even if it were just because she wanted you to do her a favor.  Once you entered the space there was so much to see, from the locked diary on her dresser to the bright red high heels peaking out from the half closed closet door.  On her wall were posters of Leif Garrett and John Travolta and a big poster of a flower, with faded pink petals and a yellow dot in the center that grew into black, which led into orange.  You swore you'd save your babysitting money to have the same poster, it was now a sign of what the cool kids liked. 

You've grown up since then and have realized that you don't need to be like anyone else to be cool, but you still remember that flower poster. 

We taken the flower and made it into a pendant.  Paired with a silver snake necklace or silver ball chain necklace.
